| For most of us it is common sense that we need to reduce the amount of chemicals we consume and slather on our skin. Eating organic foods whenever possible is an excellent first step as is using organic skin care products. Our skin is the largest organ in our bodies and we need to look after it and not cover it with toxic chemicals. |

We have been gardening organically for over 30 years and have always been aware of the benefits of eating our own organic produce. I also wanted to be able to produce some organic skin care products especially with all of the controversy concerning unregulated cosmetics. |

| Unfortunately certified organic ingredients cost more to produce which in turn increases the price of the end product. Until organic farming becomes more mainstream organic products will cost more than conventional products. The higher costs are offset by the knowledge that we as consumers are helping our environment and keeping ourselves and our children healthier by lowering the random abuse of toxic chemicals. |
| We are very proud to be able to offer our new handmade soaps made with 85% certified organic ingredients. They say that handmade soap is only as good as the ingredients used to produce it. We NEVER use lower cost fragrance oils nor do we scrimp on the use of luxury oils. All of our products are scented with therapeutic grade essential oils. Many of these cost 4 to 5 times more than synthetic fragrance oils. Neither do we scrimp on the quantity of essential oils used for each batch which is why our scents last and last. |

| Our regular line of products are also of high quality as they are all handcrafted using exceptional high quality ingredients. All of our oils are cold pressed from the first pressing along with all natural raw materials such as shea butter and we only use therapeutic grade essential oils. These essential oils are sourced from ethical producers who remain pesticide and fertilizer free with no testing done on animals. Not all countries are in the position to have their products ‘certified’ organic but their products are actually totally organic. Pertaining to ‘certified’ organic products we are presently looking into this. In my opinion whether we are certified or not makes no difference in the quality of our products. It is very costly especially for a small company to become ‘certified’ organic. With the lack of funds and manpower by most governments I have a hard time believing that all the organic products on the market have been strictly regulated. As to our own products, because we handcraft them ourselves I know exactly what goes into them and can totally regulate the quality. Try some and see for yourselves.
